Terms of use
Last updated 4 October 2026
The rules for using Our Deck. Your licence to the app itself comes from Apple's standard licence agreement; these terms add what is specific to us.
The agreement
These terms apply to the Our Deck app and this website, which are provided by ffchn software (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to use the app. If the two ever conflict about that licence, Apple's agreement applies.
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Adults only
Our Deck contains explicit sexual content. You must be at least 18, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. It is meant for two consenting adults playing together, in private.
Consent comes first
Every card is a suggestion, never an instruction. Only do what you both want, every time. Either of you can refuse any card, use your safe word or stop at any point, and the other must respect that immediately.
The app is built to make that easy, with free refusal, a way to end the round on every screen and Aftercare at the end of every round. Those tools support your judgement and each other's word. They can't replace them.
Look after each other
Our Deck is a game. It isn't medical, sexual health or relationship advice. Some cards involve physical activity, restraint, impact, temperature, toys or other props:
- skip anything that isn't right for your bodies or your health
- never restrict breathing or blood flow, and keep restraints easy to release
- use body-safe toys and plenty of lubricant where it applies, and keep things clean
- if you have a health condition or any doubt, talk to a professional first
Drinking mode
Drinking mode is optional. Turn it on only if you are both of legal drinking age where you are. Its cards ask for sips, never more. Drink water too, never drive afterwards, and never drink to the point where either of you can't clearly agree to what happens next.
Purchases
Our Deck is free to download. The Full Deck, each expansion pack and Everything are one-time, non-consumable purchases made through the App Store. There are no subscriptions. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy, and Apple processes the payment.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Purchases belong to your Apple ID. Restore them from Settings in the app; with Family Sharing turned on, they can cover your family group.
- Everything includes the Full Deck and every expansion pack we release for Our Deck, including packs released after you buy it. It does not commit us to releasing new packs, or to any schedule.
Changes to the deck
We improve Our Deck through updates: we may add, edit or retire cards and features, fix mistakes, or change content to keep it within the App Store's rules. A purchase gives you access to that deck or pack as it exists in the app, including those changes.
Using Our Deck
Our Deck is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, sell, publish or redistribute the cards or the app, try to get around purchases, or interfere with how the app works.
Our content
The app, its cards, name, logo and design belong to ffchn software. Playing with them in private is exactly what they are for; anything else needs our permission.
Disclaimers
Our Deck is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what happens as a result of how you and your partner choose to play. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using Our Deck at any time by deleting it. If we ever stop offering the app, what you have bought keeps working in the copy already on your phone.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without taking away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions go to contact@ourdeck.app.
